About Us

Our family is based in the lovely village of Addingham, sitting on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales between Ilkley and Skipton.

We have two boys, Robert (8) & Olly (7), who absolutely love spending their time outdoors, whatever the weather.

Clue Trails was an unexpected outcome of a Covid lockdown school holiday. We were looking for ways to have fun together as a family and decided to go hunting for potential clues around the village. After writing the Addingham Clue Trail, we shared it with friends to test before making it more widely available to help support a fantastic local family (see Jaime's Journey below)...and the rest is history!

We are now on the lookout for clues wherever we go and thoroughly enjoy coming up with new themes for the next trail!

About Jaime's Journey

In April 2020, whilst mountain biking on Ilkley Moor, Jaime Lunn (local villager) suffered a significant and life changing spinal injury at C6 level leaving him paralysed with no sensation below his chest.

Jaime spent most of his seven months in hospital at Pinderfields Spinal Injury Centre, finally coming home in November 2020. He now faces a number of new challenges. Primarily, the home he shares with his partner Caroline and their two young children needs significant, urgent adaptations for someone in a wheelchair.

Jaime, Caroline and their children, Florence and Seth have had their life turned upside down, at a time when the current Covid pandemic is making life very hard for everyone. Staying at home is easy, compared to starting life from scratch in an impractical home with limited resources. The family need help and now have a mechanism to harness any support you can give.
